Pete’s ‘76 CT70

This is a bike I picked up at the Eganville Snowmobile Show and Swap Meet in 2018.  Kind of dirty and rough, with the bonus of a creative tailpipe system.  There was no gas in it so the seller couldn’t prove it ran, therefore, a good deal was had.  I brought it inside the garage overnight, threw a new spark plug and some fuel in it and voila!  A running bike.  It’s one of those bikes with the opposite shift pattern.  Most old Honda 3 speeds were 3 down; this one’s 3 up!  Pete bought it and what a nice job he did bringing it back to life!  Any old minibike adventure stories to share, Pete?

  1. Great site! A fun little bike for chasing the boys around the farm. A little elbow grease, carb rebuild, tank clean and a new seat and ready to rock. Might switch out the engine for a spare this spring as this one isn’t that strong.
